Češi používají hlavně kondomy

Téměř polovina Čechů, kteří používají antikoncepci, dává přednost především kondomům a hormonálním tabletám. Vyplývá to z průzkumu společnosti Median, který zveřejnila agentura ČTK. Antikoncepci podle průzkumu v Česku používá více než pětina lidí.  Median uvedl, že 40 procent dotázaných má za to, že antikoncepce je především starostí ženy, 21 procent si myslí opak. Sedmatřicet procent si myslí, že by se antikoncepcí měli zabývat oba partneři.

Antikoncepci v Česku používá asi 23 procent lidí, největší podíl uživatelů je ve věkové skupině 20 až 29 let, kde se proti nechtěnému početí chrání asi 42 procent lidí.

I když někteří Češi kombinují více druhů antikoncepce, nejužívanější jsou kondomy, které používá 48 procent z těch, kteří se proti nechtěnému početí antikoncepcí chrání, 47 procent dává přednost
hormonálním tabletám. Nitroděložní tělísko využívá asi devět procent dotázaných, hormonální náplasti asi pět procent a hormonální injekce zhruba čtyři procenta chránících se.

Průzkumu, který trval od září roku 2008 do letošního března, se zúčastnilo 7842 obyvatel České republiky ve věku 12 až 79 let.
