Nedávno lidem zase chodily podvodné SMS, rovněž s cílem připravit je o peníze
„VZP ČR: Pojistná platba čeká na připsání na váš účet…“ To je text SMS, která dorazila do mobilních telefonů tisícům lidí. Odkaz ve zprávě nepoužívejte, jde o podvod a hrozí zneužití vašich údajů.

Falešné SMS, které se tváří jako zprávy z Všeobecné zdravotní pojišťovny (VZP), podvodníci odesílali na konci října nejméně ve dvou vlnách. Podle tiskové zprávy VZP naposledy v noci z úterý na středu. SMS dorazily přinejmenším do tisíců mobilních telefonů, a to i lidem, kteří klienti VZP nejsou.

Jak podvodné SMS vypadají

Textové zprávy chodí z různých čísel s českou předvolbou. Redaktorce serveru Vitalia.cz dorazila např. z +420 773 072 524. Podle VZP se ale čísla odesilatelů různí.

Samotný text zprávy je stručný. Adresátovi říká, že na něj čeká pojistná platba (jaká, není upřesněno) a že mu má být připsána na jeho bankovní účet. Následuje odkaz na různé stránky, jež používají zkratku VZP. Nejspíš proto, aby v adresátovi vzbudily dojem, že mu skutečně píše jeho pojišťovna.

Příslib peněz ve jménu pojišťovny má oslovené přimět k tomu, aby co nejdříve navštívili stránku přes odkaz uvedený v SMS a na webu podvodníků vyplnili své údaje včetně čísla účtu. VZP ale varuje, že weby jsou falešné a lidé nemají odkaz na ně používat. Stejně jako o sobě sdělovat jakékoliv informace, protože je podvodníci mohou zneužít.

Tyto odkazy nepoužívejte, přesměrují vás na weby zřízené podvodníky, nikoliv VZP. Ta jako komunikační bránu s klienty používá výhradě svůj portál www.vzp.cz nebo aplikaci Moje VZP.

Jak se před podvodem chránit

Pokud vám podobná zpráva dorazila či dorazí, ignorujte ji. „Důrazně varujeme před tím, aby na takové zprávy reagovali či se řídili pokyny v nich uvedenými,“ uvádí bezpečnostní ředitel VZP Jan Svoboda.

Pokud si nejste jisti, zda vám přišla informace od VZP ČR, nebo falešná zpráva od podvodníků, můžete si pravost ověřit na infolince VZP s číslem +420 952 222 222.

Jasným vodítkem pro klienty může být podle pojišťovny také to, že v případě zpráv rozesílaných skutečně z VZP je ve jménu odesílatele uvedeno: „VZP CR“ nebo „EKK“.

Pokud už jste podvodníkům své údaje svěřili, bude obrana těžká. VZP doporučuje pro zmírnění rizik změnit všechna hesla např. do e-mailu nebo internetového bankovnictví.

Další postup záleží na tom, jaké údaje člověk podvodníkům svěřil a zda už mu kvůli tomu vznikla nějaká škoda. Kontaktovat lze banku, která při rychlé reakci klienta dokáže platby zablokovat, nebo policii. Tu zejména v případě, pokud existuje podezření, že podvodníci již údaje zneužili.

Jak poznat podvodníka a jak se bránit

Policie ČR v minulosti již vydala několik rad k podvodným SMS. Tehdy se týkaly jiného případu než VZP, část z nich ale lze použít obecně:

  • U každé SMS pečlivě posuzujte hlavně obsah. 
  • Nevyžádané SMS, např. o výhře v soutěži, do které jste se nikdy nepřihlásili, jsou podezřelé. 
  • SMS s chybami naznačuje strojový nebo automatický překlad. 
  • Odkazy často vybízejí k vyplnění osobních údajů, potvrzení přístupových hesel nebo poskytnutí přístupu do vašeho telefonu. Pamatujte, že banky, úřady ani poskytovatelé doručovacích služeb po vás nikdy nebudou chtít osobní informace prostřednictvím SMS. 
  • Pokud z odkazu v SMS nepoznáte, na jaké stránky vás navedou, neklikejte na něj.
  • Nikdy nepřeposílejte nikomu žádné autorizační kódy. 
  • Pravost SMS můžete ověřit u odesílatele. K tomu ale využijte kontakty z oficiálních zdrojů banky, úřadu, pošty atd. Ty v SMS mohou být opět zavádějící. 
  • Pokud v návaznosti na popisované jednání přijdete o peníze na účtu, řešte vše obratem s bankou, která může v některých případech peníze ještě zachránit. Pokud je vám způsobena škoda, oznamte to také policii.
