TIP NA VÝLET – Jihočeské město Tábor láká návštěvníky hlavně svojí husitskou historií, která je zde patrná na každém kroku – ať jde přímo o vzácné památky nebo názvy restaurací, hotelů nebo ulic. Stejně tak je zajímavé okolí města. Doporučuji vydat se na Táborsko rozhodně s kolem, nebo i pěšky. Region nabízí 637 kilometrů značených turistických tras.

Deset a půl kilometrů dlouhá Příběnická stezka vede podél řeky Lužnice a je vyznačena již od konce devatenáctého století.

Přijedete-li do Tábora vlakem nebo autobusem, musíte projít starobylým centrem města, ze kterého sejdete k řece (lze si cestu zkrátit po Bechyňské silnici), kterou přes vysoký Švehlův most přejdete. K břehu řeky pak musíte sejít tak, jak nás navádí červená turistická značka.

Osvěžit (nikoli pít, voda dle rozborů pitná není!) se můžete vodou z pramene prýštícího ze skály u studánky Eleonora, kterou hlídá panenka Marie. Dále pokračujte po červené po proudu řeky.

Domečkovo zátiší

Cesta je zpočátku poměrně široká a jde se dobře až k Domečkově zátiší, které výletníky láká k odpočinku a možná se někdo i zasní při představě, jak v dřevěném Domečkově altánu u řeky odpočívala na počátku dvacátého století dáma v klobouku s galantním doprovodem. Co zde asi svačili? Altán časem smetla velká voda a vzpomínky na Jana Domečku, jenž se o vybudování stezky nejvíce zasloužil, odvál čas. Možná  by se na něj zapomnělo docela, kdyby ne tu nebyl  nápis vytesaný do skály.

V současné době tvoří Domečkovo zátiší několik laviček a informační tabule dál od hladiny řeky, tak snad živlům i vandalům odolá a bude sloužit turistům.

Po krátkém odpočinku je nutné se zvednout a pokračovat dál v cestě podél řeky až k Vlčímu dolu, který vede do kopce k rozhledně Hýlačka na Větrovech a pokračuje do Sezimova Ústí a ke Kozímu hrádku.

Lávka u Harrachovky

Nás tato nabídka nezlákala, protože jsme si chtěli projít celou Příběnickou stezku, a také jsme byli zvědaví na lávku u Harrachovky, pojmenovanou podle hraběte Harracha, jež se v průběhu let obměňovala a vyvíjela. Původní dřevěnou dávno vzala voda a ledové kry. Současná lávka je kovová. Přejdete-li po ní a trochu se proti proudu vrátíte, můžete se občerstvit v restauraci s názvem, jak jinak, Harrachovka. Postavena byla v šedesátých letech minulého století na místě původní Harrachovy besídky, jež byla slavnostně otevřena v roce 1901.

Stezka ovšem pokračuje po levém břehu a výletník si jistě všimne několika bílých mlýnů na protějším břehu. Za posledním z nich, za Berdovým mlýnem, se cesta zúží tak, že připomíná madeirské levády a člověk musí zvýšit pozornost, zvláště když je mokro a bukové listy podkluzují.

Tunel a ochoz

Po chvíli se však cesta stává lehce stereotypní, což poruší skály sahající až do řeky a zdánlivě bránící v další cestě. Naštěstí tady již v roce 1938 nechal Klub českých turistů města Tábora jednu Sport-relax-Outdoor (sport)-Pribenicka-stezka-05ze skal prorazit a vznikl tak dvaatřicetimetrový tunel, který ale  nebyl nikdy veřejnosti slavnostně předán kvůli německé okupaci..

Ještě starší, z roku 1914, je ochoz  tvořící prstenec okolo Příběnické skály.

Jak tunel, tak ochoz výletníkům cestu značně ulehčují, jinak by museli stoupat a pak zase klesat, nebo skálu zdlouhavě obcházet.

V cíli

Nyní nás od cíle, Příběnického podhradí (s penzionem Příběnice), dělí jen několik kroků. V nohách jsme měli dvanáct a půl kilometru a mohli se rozhodnout, zda budeme pokračovat po červené v cestě podél Lužnice třeba až do Bechyně, nebo vystoupáme nad údolí.

Rozhodli jsme se stoupat. Cestu nám radily modré nebo žluté pruhy turistického značení. Když se barvy na vrcholu rozdělily, opět jsme měli možnost výběru, kudy dál. Zvolili jsme kratší cestu k městu Malšice, kde jsme chtěli poobědvat.

Silnice, po níž jsme šli se zdála být nekonečná, až se v dáli objevila věž místního kostela a cesta hned lépe ubíhala. Při pohledu na vývěsní štít jedné „restaurace“, který kázal něco o dobré huse pro hladového, nás hlad skutečně dohnal. Se slinami na jazyku jsme vtrhli dovnitř. Tam však žádná vůně. Po huse, nebo třeba jen po slepičím vývaru ani památka. Zklamaní jsme se alespoň dotázali, kde se ve městečku najíme. V hospodě, na kterou nás místní odkázal, nám však ve tři hodiny odpoledne (!) lehce podroušený hostinský na náš dotaz odpověděl: „K jídlu máme pouze rum.“

Nezbývalo nám, než odtud prchnout, buď autobusem, který však měl jet až za hodinu a půl, nebo vlakem. Hladoví a unavení jsme zvolili autostop. Zastavilo nám hned první auto, prý tu lidé často stopují…

Příště se na horním rozcestí nad Příběnicemi rozhodneme jinak a půjdeme dále po žluté turistické značce zpátky do Tábora. Cesta to je však o sedm kilometrů delší a vede přes vesničku Dražičky a Hnojnou Lhotku.    

Trasa Tábor – Příběnice – Malšice

Celková délka: 17 km

Doba výletu (i s krátkou prohlídkou historického centra Tábora): 4 hodiny

Na kole: Příběnická stezka je pro cyklistiku nevhodná  kvůli  poměrně úzkým  cestám v členitém terénu.

Děti: Záleží na schopnostech dětí. Cesta je poměrně dlouhá a místy stereotypní. Rozptýlení poskytne mini zoo u restaurace Harrachovky.

Stoupání a klesání: Cesta z Tábora do Příběnic je spíše po rovině. Stoupání i klesání je pozvolné. Z Příběnic do Malšice se jde po asfaltovém povrchu a do kopce. 

Značení cesty: Velmi dobré. Po červené až do Příběnic, dále po modré do Malšic.
