Musíme tam každý. A nejlépe jednou denně. O stolici ale zpravidla nemluvíme. Je to tabu, za které se stydíme, ačkoli patří k základním lidským potřebám a ledacos nám o nás prozradí.

Dobře fungující metabolismus je pro naše zdraví nezbytný. Někdo dostal do vínku bezvadné trávení, jiný si musí pečlivě hlídat složení jídelníčku, protože některé potraviny mu nedělají dobře, nadýmají, tlačí v žaludku.

Pohled do mísy možná není příjemný, ale může být užitečný

Kvalitu trávení a podobu naší stolice ovlivňuje nejen složení jídelníčku, ale také náš zdravotní stav. Změna barvy i konzistence stolice může být známkou onemocnění, o přítomnosti krve ani nemluvě. Podívejme se dnes především na to, jak vypadá zdravá stolice a jak ji „ozdravit“.

Otestujte svoji stolici

„Zdravá stolice má žlutohnědou až hnědočernou barvu (záleží na skladbě stravy), měkkou konzistenci a tvar válečku,“ vysvětluje nutriční specialistka Pavlína Zdeňková Kroužková. Zdravá stolice by také měla mít menší váhu než voda (tj. v míse plave) a neměla by ulpívat na stěnách záchodové mísy.

Stolici mohou krátkodobě zbarvit různé potraviny – například červená řepa nebo borůvky, ale i některé léky nebo doplňky stravy (železo apod.). Dlouhodobá změna konzistence nebo nepřirozená barva stolice či obsah krve v ní ale může ukazovat na onemocnění a je vhodné navštívit lékaře.

Co značí nezdravá stolice?

  • Tmavá stolice s příměsí hlenu může odkazovat na krvácení v traktu. Příčinou může být prasklý hemeroid, popřípadě i vážnější onemocnění. Rozhodně je vhodné navštívit lékaře.
  • Žlutá nebo zelená stolice se zpravidla objevuje během průjmu. Žlutá barva může souviset s onemocněním jater, popřípadě s problémy ve žlučovodu.
  • Úzká stolice nebo stolice rozdělená na více částí může předznamenávat některé z onemocnění tlustého střeva.

Jedním z mýtů, se kterým je možné se setkat v internetových diskuzích, je, že zdravá stolice nezapáchá. To není tak docela pravda. „Zdravá stolice nemá nepříjemný zápach, ale asi bych nepoužila termín, že nezapáchá. Obecně stolice nejméně zapáchá po mléčných výrobcích. Větší zápach bude mít stolice při velké konzumaci masa a masných výrobků nebo po konzumaci některých druhů zeleniny, jako je například kapusta,“ vysvětluje Pavlína Zdeňková Kroužková.

Chcete zdravou stolici? Jezte vlákninu

Kromě vzhledu vaší stolice je důležitá také periodicita vyměšování. Jak často chodíte na velkou? Měli byste minimálně jednou denně. Ideální však je vyprázdnit se dvakrát až třikrát denně. Přijde vám to moc? Pak si zkuste upravit svůj jídelníček.

„Pro zdravé vyprazdňování a stolici je důležitý dostatečný příjem vlákniny. U dospělého člověka to znamená kolem 25 až 30 gramů denně,“ doporučuje nutriční specialistka.

Nejvíce vlákniny najdete v luštěninách, jako jsou fazole, hrách, sója. Výborným zdrojem vlákniny jsou také pšeničné klíčky, které můžete použít například jako součást salátu. Přírodním zdrojem vlákniny jsou rovněž různé druhy ovoce i zeleniny. Jmenovat můžeme například maliny, rybíz, celer, kapustu, zelí, mrkev, ostružiny.

Už žádná zácpa

Je prokázáno, že vegetariáni, kteří přijímají více vlákniny, mají dvakrát tak těžkou stolici než lidé s běžným a lehce nezdravým jídelníčkem. Nedostatek vlákniny zmenšuje obsah stolice na polovinu, snižuje frekvenci vyprazdňování a zvyšuje riziko zácpy. Stolice je totiž tužší a vyprázdnění nás stojí více úsilí. Naopak, nestrávená vláknina pomáhá zadržovat ve střevě více vody, což vede k většímu objemu stolice, která dráždí střevní stěnu a posouvá stolici směrem ke konečníku.

Nejen vláknina je pro zdravou stolici nezbytná. „Důležitý je ale také pitný režim, pohybová aktivita a zdravá mikroflóra v našich střevech, proto je možné doporučit i konzumaci zakysaných mléčných výrobků,“ dodává Pavlína Zdeňková Kroužková.
