Zubní problémy

Lidské zuby postihuje mnoho problémů, od krvácení dásní, přes„trnutí zubů“ při požití něčeho studeného po zákeřnou parodontózu.

Zuby mají poměrně složitou strukturu, skládají ze tří částí – kořene, krčku a korunky. Korunka je pokryta sklovinou, která je nejtvrdší tkání našeho těla. Většinu hmoty uvnitř zubu tvoří zubovina, žlutobílá kostem podobná hmota, uprostřed zuboviny je dřeňová dutina, kterou vyplňuje zubní dřeň, jíž procházejí cévy a nervy. Kořen zubu je kryt zubním cementem, který upevňuje zub k zubnímu lůžku a dásni.

Mezi nejčastější onemocnění zubů patří tzv. zubní plak, bakteriální vrstva, která se tvoří a usazuje na zubech. Mikroorganismy, které se zde usazují zapříčiňují rozklad sacharidů na zubech a tak je odvápňují – zub je náchylnější pro tvorbu zubního kazu. Dochází k poškození zuboviny, která je běžně kryta tvrdou sklovinou. Zuby tak bolí, dochází k otokům dásní jejich zřervenání a podráždění. Tvorbě zubního plaku lze předcházet správnou zubní hygienou, způsoby jeho odstranění je dobré konzultovat s lékařem. Pokud se zubní plak nezačne včas léčit, může dojít k tvorbě zubního kamene vznikajícího reakcí minerálních látek s nekrytou zubovinou. Zubní kámen se velmi špatně odstraňuje a může způsobovat krvácení a vážné otoky dásní, které mohou vést k jejich zánětu.

Zanedbáváte svůj chrup? Může vás to stát nejenom pěkných pár zubů, ale taky pěkných pár tisícovek. Navíc tohle onemocnění na vzhledu nepřidá, o zápachu z úst nemluvě. 

Dalším z infekčních onemocnění je zubní kaz. Zubní kaz způsobují bakterie, které se na zubu usazují v podobě zubního plaku. Rozkládají sacharidy, které se přeměňují na kyselinu mléčnou, narušují zubní sklovinu a postupně prorůstají stále do větší hloubky tkáně zubu, kde v oblasti kořene způsobují velmi bolestivý hnisavý zánět. Zubní kaz se léčí operativně u lékaře.

Nejzávažnějším onemocněním zubů je tzv. parodontitida, častěji parodentóza, onemocnění způsobené mikroorganismy, čato provázené zvýšenou tvorbou zubního plaku a kazením zubů. Mikroorganismy způsobují záněty dásní, které často vedou ke ztrátě zubů.
